14-Days Skardu-Hunza-Lahore

Hunza Valley is one of the most popular destinations in Pakistan among tourists, photographers and painters. The valley offers extremely different panorama in different seasons. Summer is green and spring is white while in autumn, the whole valley turns into red, yellow and orange. Rakaphshi at 7788 meters dominates the whole panorama while traveling on Karakoram Highway along with Indus & Hunza rivers is a memorable journey. Baltistan is known a the Tibet-e-Khurd or little Tibet since its life style reflects that of the roof of the world and the land of lamas.it borders on the Chinese province of Sinkiang and Indian occupied Kashmir.

The tourist season is from April to October.apart from its incomparable cluster of mountain peaks and glaciers, Baltistan’s five valleys Shigar ,Skardu, Khaplum, Rondu and Kharmang-are noted for their luscious peaches, apricots, apples and pears Shigar valley is the gateway to the mountain peaks of Karakoram. Skardu has a historic fort atop a ridge known as Mindoq Khar castle of Queen Mindoq and two lovely lakes Karpachu and Satpara lake are ideal for fishing. Polo is a favorite sport in Skardu besides hiking, trekking and mountaineering etc.

Day 01: Arrival Islamabad
After meeting and greeting at the airport, we will be transferred to hotel and check in.In the afternoon we will go for sightseeing tour of Islamabad (subject to arrival timing). Overnight stay at Islamabad.

Day 02: Islamabad – Skardu (By Air)
After breakfast, we will depart for airport to catch the flight to Skardu. While in flight, we will enjoy the spectacular aerial view of Himalaya and Karakoram. On arrival transfer to hotel and check in, in the afternoon we will go for excursion (4X4 drive) to Shigar Valley. Overnight stay at Skardu.

Day 03: Skardu
In the morning we will go for the tour of Sadpara Lake, also visit local Bazar. In the afternoon we will go for a walking tour of Upper KachuraLake. Overnight stay in hotel at Skardu.

Day 04: Skardu – Karimabad (290 km)
After breakfast, we will leave for Karimabad (Hunza Valley), en-route lunch stop at Gilgit. In the afternoon we will visit the old suspension bridge and local bazaar, afterwards proceed to Karimabad. En-route we will stop for a view point of Rakaposhi (7788 m). Overnight stay in hotel at Karimabad.

Day 05: Karimabad (120 km)
After breakfast we will visit Baltit Fort (700 years old) and then proceed to Nagar Valley (18 KM) for half day excursion (4×4 drive) – later in the afternoon, we will take walking tour for Altit Village. Overnight stay in hotel at Karimabad.

Day 06: Karimabad – Gulmit (30 km)
In the morning, we will depart for Gulmit, on arrival transfer to hotel and check in. In the afternoon, we will go for trekking tour of Passu Glacier. Overnight stay in Hotel at Gulmit.

Day 07: Gulmit – Karimabad (270 km)
After breakfast, we will leave for full day excursion to Khunjerab Pass (5000 m) with picnic lunch at the top, afterwards drive down to Karimabad. Overnight stay in Hotel at Karimabad.

Day 08: Karimabad – Naran (350 km)
After breakfast we will proceed to Naran via Babusar Pass (4000m), en-route enjoys panoramic view ofNanga Parbat (8126m). On arrival transfer to hotel and check in.Overnight stay at Naran.

Day 09: Naran – Islamabad (290 km)
After breakfast we will go for half day excursion (4×4 drive) to SaifulMaluk lake. Afterwards, we will drive down to Islamabad. Overnight stay in hotel at Islamabad.

Day 10: Islamabad
After breakfast we will go for Islamabad city tour, visiting Shakarparian, Saidpur Village and Faisal Mosque and from there we would proceed to Taxila, visit Taxila Museum and the sites (Dharmarajika & Sirkap). Overnight stay in hotel at Islamabad.

Day 11: Islamabad – Lahore (400 km)
In the morning, we will depart for Lahore, en-route visit Rohtas Fort (5 KM circumference), and en route we will also visit the largest Salt Mine (Khewra) of the world. After visiting the Salt Mine we will proceed to Lahore via Motorway. On arrival transfer to hotel and check in, overnight stay at Lahore.

Day 12: Lahore
Today, we will go for full day sightseeing tour of Lahore by visiting Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, old Lahore (Walled City) – after lunch break, we will visit Lahore Museum, the Tomb of Jahangir and the tomb of Nur Jehan. Overnight stay in hotel at Lahore.

Day 13: Lahore
First half of the day is for shopping tour or scroll along The Mall of Lahore. In the afternoon we will visit Shalimar Garden and from there we will drive to Pak-India border (Wahga) to watch the flag lowering ceremony. Afterwards we drive back to our hotel and overnight stay at Lahore.

Day 14: Lahore – Flight Out
After breakfast we will be transferred to airport for the flight back home.
