Continuing our drive, we reach Abbottabad, a charming city nestled amidst hills, where we may take a moment to appreciate the serene surroundings. Our journey then takes us through Mansehra, a city rich in cultural heritage, providing a glimpse into the region’s history. As we progress, we approach Balakot, the gateway to the mesmerizing Kaghan Valley. Balakot, located on the banks of the Kunhar River, welcomes us with its picturesque landscapes. Naran – Gilgit

Continuing our ascent through the Kaghan Valley, our journey unfolds alongside the Kunhar River, offering captivating views at every turn. We traverse through charming settlements, including Batakundi, Jalkhad, and Burwai, each contributing to the picturesque beauty of the landscape. Our next destination is the stunning Lulusar Lake, renowned for its pristine, sparkling waters. A brief stop at this mesmerizing lake allows us to capture the beauty in memorable photographs, appreciating the tranquility of the surroundings. Resuming our drive, we pass through the summer settlement of Gitidas, surrounded by lush greenery and mountainous terrain. Our route then leads us to the majestic Babusar Pass, standing at an elevation of 4173 meters. At the pass, we take a pause to absorb the breathtaking panoramic views that unfold before us, savoring the moment at this high-altitude vantage point. After experiencing the grandeur of Babusar Pass, we set our sights on Gilgit, the gateway to the enchanting Gilgit-Baltistan region. As we traverse the charming village of Kaghan, the road leads us onward to Kawai and eventually to the captivating high plateau of Shogran. Nestled amidst nature’s splendor, Shogran provides a serene backdrop for our day’s adventure. Our exploration extends with an excursion to Paya, a vast plateau situated at the base of the majestic Makra Peak. Paya rewards us with breathtaking panoramic views that capture the essence of the surrounding landscapes. The expansive plateau allows us to soak in the beauty of nature, creating a sense of awe and appreciation for the grandeur of the mountains. After immersing ourselves in the stunning scenery, we make our way back to Islamabad, where the journey concludes.
